Nefretete Rasheed, Ph.D., Meditation Teacher, Therapist, and Spiritual Counselor has worked clinically and in private practice for more than 20 years. She assists individuals in gaining insight and understanding regarding life challenges, emotional patterns, and personal empowerment. Her mission is to support others in making informed choices by using and developing their own inner guidance, strength, and soul purpose.
Dr. Rasheed is a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. She was initiated into the Nayaswami Order, a renunciate (swami) order of Yogananda’s lineage for the new age, whose members are dedicated to the path of Self-realization and to serving humanity. She serves at the Ananda Village ashram, a world-renowned intentional spiritual community in Nevada City, California.
